This firebowl was manufactured and assembled in accordance with the ANSI Z21.60-2003 and CSA 2.26-2003 STANDARD for outdoor decorative gas appliances. It uses liquid propane (LP) or natural gas, and in the absence of local codes and ordinances is governed by the standard for storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas, ANSI/NFPA 58 and the Natural Gas Installation code CAN/CGA B149.2 This standard instructs on the safe storage and handling of compressed gases.

SPECIFICATIONS:Propane: The minimum operating pressure is 10" water column, the standard operating pressure is 11" W/C, max. O/P is 12" W/C.Natural Gas: The minimum operating pressure is 5" water column, the standard operating pressure is
6" W/C, max. O/P is 7" W/C.The burner for both natural gas and propane is rated at a minimum of 150,000 BTU. It is recommended that a certified gas technician connect and permanently hard pipe the firebowl to the propane or natural gas source once a permanent location has been established. Propane tank must be 100 lbs. or 50 gallons minimum. The firebowl must be permanently secured and lag bolted to a stable, level and non-flammable surface so as to keep the firebowl from tipping or spinning. Use recommended bolts. Unless the bowl is secure, tipping or spinning can break the gas line and cause an explosion, property damage or loss of life.

The firebowl does not come with a screen, cage, fence, or any device that will inhibit people or animals from falling in. Protection of the public using the firebowl is the responsibility of the purchaser. Children, animals or anyone visibly intoxicated or impaired should not be allowed in the vicinity of the firebowl. The firebowl does not come supplied with rocks. Recommended choices are solid metal orbs, or approx. 100- 200 lbs. of 6" to 10" lava rocks. Some rocks contain water, and when heated will crack, split or burst. Please consult your local landscape supply for recommendations on which rocks are best for fires.
